RCCI President Urges Unity Amid Violent Incidents in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi : The vandalism and burning of public and private properties has tarnished the peaceful and positive image of Pakistan. The violent incidents in the city are deplorable.


The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Saqib Rafiq said in a statement that violent incidents have halted the business activities in the city.


He said that the current economic situation of Pakistan cannot afford protest politics. He urged political parties and stakeholders to put their joint efforts to unite the nation and end polarization.


We have to give our generations a bright and safe Pakistan, for which we have to remove all petty differences and think in the interest of the country beyond personal likes and dislikes, he added.


He assured full cooperation to the law enforcement agencies and district administration for the restoration of business activities and restoration of law and order.
